Serves 4

  • 4  Skinless free-range chicken breasts


  • 1 Clove of garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp. Fresh ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1½ tsp.  Tomato puree´
  • 1½ tsp.  Garam masala
  • 1½ tsp. Ground coriander
  • 1½ tsp. Ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp.   Turmeric
  • 100 g (3 oz.) 1/3rd cup  Plain low fat unsweetened yoghurt
  • Lemon wedges


Mix all the marinade ingredients together. Make 2 slits in each of the chicken breasts and place these in the marinade. Leave them in the fridge overnight.

Grill the chicken breasts for 15 minutes basting and turning regularly. Check to see that the chicken juices run clear when the thickest part of the breast is pierced. Serve garnished with a lemon wedges and salad.
