Savoury Porridge DF EF YF WF / GF
1 cup of Oats OR Rice flakes
2 cups of vegetable or chicken stock
½ teaspoon Lemon zest
1 teaspoon of herbs-de-provence
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley
2 slices of (unsmoked) Bacon chopped or grilled crisp
Black Pepper to taste
If the stock is not home-made then check that the stock cube is yeast free.
Make the porridge in the usual way and add the last five ingredients at the end of the cooking time.
